Reverend David Rowe

Pastor Rowe is an Elder in the Methodist Church. He came to TSUMC in November 2009 from the Nebraska Conference bringing over 30 years of experience. Pastor Rowe and his wife have five daughters and six grandchildren. As a pastor, his desire is to be available when he is needed and to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in every way possible.

Message from Pastor Rowe:

“Let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy.” Those are the words of the psalmist in Psalm 5:11.

It was with great joy that I celebrated my first anniversary as Pastor of the Thompson’s Station United Methodist Church on the first Sunday of November.  This has been an amazing year as I have been blessed to be a part of a dynamic, growing fellowship of God’s people. In a church small enough that, as they used to say in one Television show, “where everyone knows your name”, Yet a church large enough to allow opportunity for individual growth in Biblical knowledge, spiritual experience, musical expression and ministry opportunities within the congregation, the community and beyond.

Here in this church you can find the joy of worship, the fellowship of God’s people, and most important sustenance for your soul.

One writer expressed it this way;

“This is the house of God.

Here, you can release your pain to God.

Here, your soul’s stain can be removed by God.

Here, you learn to let your life be sustained by God.

You are welcome in the house of God!”

Whoever you are, wherever you are from, we welcome you, and we invite you to “rejoice” with us about God’s goodness and mercy. Let us “ever sing for joy” and praise God with profoundly grateful hearts.
