Ministries

The members of Thompson’s Station United Methodist Church recognize that growth is essential, and moreover, God’s will.  We view and define growth from a spiritual perspective.  At TSUMC, the minister and laity alike, strive to promote the spiritual growth of every member:  adult and child.  We believe that as spiritual growth occurs, faith grows.  As a result, the desire to serve , likewise grows.  We are dedicated to helping anyone interested in finding their God-given talents and spiritual gifts which lead to joyful service in God’s various ministries.

We believe that a result of the spiritual growth and joyful service of each member is an effective personal ministry that fulfills the ministry of Jesus.  We believe that numerical growth is a by-product of the successful spiritual growth of the congregation.  In response, we seek God’ guidance to manage this growth and be faithful stewards of God’s treasure, each and every soul.

Weddings

Thompson’s Station United Methodist Church is pleased to make our church available to couples wishing to marry in a Christian setting. Over the last decade, many couples have celebrated their unions in our historic sanctuary. You need not be a member of our church to use our facility. You may make your ceremony reservations with our Wedding Liaison and negotiate performance of the ceremony with our Pastor or provide your own legally ordained officiant. (No internet ordinations are allowed.)
