United Methodist Women
“A Bronze UMW Unit”
“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”
Hebrews 13:16
PURPOSE
The Purpose of the United Methodist Women is to know God, to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Through the years, the missionary motivation has been central to its purpose.
MEETINGS AND MEMBERSHIP
Members of the United Methodist Women meet monthly in small groups called circles. Here they develop close relationships as they pray for and nurture each other in learning, fellowship, service activities, Bible study and book studies.
There are also general members. These women are not in a particular circle but support UMW by helping with overall activities.
For meeting information, check the monthly calendar on the EVENTS page.
