Many things unite our teens to continue growing in the love of God.

Teens strive to always:
• Love each other, love others as we love ourselves and set an example of how Christ loves us.
• Remember that God made each of us individually chosing special spiritual gifts for us that we are to discover and strive each day to use to better the world, in Christ’s name.

As a Group Teens:

• Have FUN!
1 Samuel 16:17 -” So Saul said to his attendants, “Find someone who plays well and bring him to me.”

• TALK a lot!
2 John 1:12 – “I have much to write to you, but I do not want to use paper and ink”
Luke 24:17 - “He asked them, “What are you discussing together as you walk along?”

• BOND!
Colossians 3:14 - “And over all these… bind them all together in perfect unity.”

• LEARN from each other by sharing our faults and strengths!
Isaiah 41:6 - “each helps the other and says to his brother, Be strong!”

Suggested Prayers

• Prayer for stressful exam times:
God of wisdom, be with me during this time of exams. Focus my mind and calm my nerves. Holy Spirit, be near me. Be my guide, counselor and friend. Gently remind me what I have learned.

Help me to understand the questions and be with me as I provide the answers.
I learn, not for myself, but as a means to better serve your creation and glorify your name. I learn because you give me the ability to do so. All glory, honor and praise are yours, now and forever.

Amen.

• Prayer to give you strength before your big game/event:
Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus. ~I Corinthians 15:57
Dear Father, I praise You and honor You. You are in control of all things! Even now Lord, You know how important this event is for me.

I know the Bible says that we’re more than conquerors through You. I trust You to grant me victory today O Lord, and it is nothing for You to help a weak person who loves You. I do not rely on my strength or ability but humble myself. I choose to place all my confidence in You and not in myself.

Please grant me robust health and keep me physically fit to achieve success in my efforts. Let Your name alone be glorified through my victory and please let me prove to the world that I am the child of the Almighty.

I have the confidence that I can do everything through You. Strengthen me O Lord and let me shine for Your glory. Please protect me from all harm and danger. I pray all this in the name of Jesus my Savior, Lord and friend. Amen.
