United Women in Faith

PURPOSE

The Purpose of the United Women in Faith is to know God, to experience freedom as whole persons

through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Through the years, the missionary motivation has been central to its purpose.

 

MEETINGS AND MEMBERSHIP

Members of the United Women in Faith meet monthly in small groups called circles. Here they develop close relationships as they pray for and nurture each other in learning, fellowship, service activities, Bible study and book studies.

There are also general members. These women are not in a particular circle but support UWF by helping with overall activities.

Meetings are normally held the third Monday in the month at 6:30pm, excluding summer months.

Throughout the year, the UWF support missions for women and children in the local area.  We also financially support UWF’s work in national and global missions by our pledges and fundraising efforts.
