We encourage our congregation to see Sunday School as a tool to educate people for faithful living and nurture them on their spiritual journey – “Sunday School is for Life”.
Sunday School:
- Helps us grow in “Spirit and Truth”
- Helps us grow in “Fellowship”
- Provides weekly Bible teaching, a vital component for Christians.
Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens another.”
This is what happens when we are involved in Sunday School to study the Bible on a weekly basis. We sharpen one another. This weekly interaction helps us grow spiritually, gives us an opportunity to develop a depth of friendship and can become a powerful influence in our lives.
If you and your family are not presently attending Sunday School, we encourage and invite you to add this to your weekly Sunday schedule!
Whether you are looking to strengthen and enrich your faith, expand your knowledge of the Bible, or fellowship with other Christians, Thompson’s Station United Methodist Church has a Sunday School class that can meet your needs.
